Route notes, questions about a report, or a request to join the next walk all land in the same place. Use the details below and write to us directly.
If you are still working out which report fits your plan, the Learn pages cover how distance, elevation and wind exposure read on the ground. When you are ready to send something in, the address and phone below are the fastest way to reach us.

Send route notes, corrections to a report, or a note about joining a walk. Include the trail name and the region so it reaches the right section of the journal.
contact@orebic-outdoors.comIf you have walked a coastal or mountain route and the notes you kept are worth passing on, they belong in the journal.
Useful submissions read like field notes rather than trip highlights. Distance and elevation gain, where you actually found water, how the wind behaved on the exposed ridge, the month you walked it, and whether markers were still visible or the path had grown over. Gear observations help too, especially footwear, pack weight and layering on wet coastal days. Short and specific beats long and general.
Corrections are just as welcome. If a route has changed since a report was published, that is exactly the kind of update the next walker needs.
Route notes, corrections and questions about the journal all go to the same place.
Reading a report is one thing. Getting a straight answer about a specific path, a faded marker or a stretch you are unsure of is another. If something in a route write-up does not match what you found on the ground, or you want to know how a section reads in a different month, there are two ways to reach the people who walk these routes.
Both go to the same small group. Neither promises a reply window, and there is no account to create, no file to upload and no service behind a login.
Walked something recently and found the path overgrown, a marker gone or a shortcut that saves time? Put it in writing and it goes into the same pile the club reads before planning the next walk.
Questions about water points, wind on a ridge, or which month suits a traverse are fair game. Say which route you mean and what you are trying to work out.
